Resultados do International Chocolate Awards – Etapa América Latina & Caribe 2025: o Brasil no pódio

Nestes últimos dias, em agosto de 2025, foi divulgado o resultado da etapa América Latina & Caribe do International Chocolate Awards, um dos concursos mais prestigiados do setor.


Como venho me dedicando há pelo menos dois anos à análise de resultados de premiações internacionais, iniciei hoje a atualização da minha planilha de análise estatística qualitativa e quantitativa, com o objetivo de acompanhar a performance de marcas brasileiras ao longo das edições e dentro das 20 categorias desta etapa.


No levantamento inicial, identifiquei que as marcas brasileiras representaram 12,35% dos premiados e conquistaram lugar no pódio em 6 das 20 categorias.

  • Faixa de cacau nas barras premiadas:
    Do 33% ao 55% em chocolates ao leite e brancos, tanto puros como com infusões e com inclusões e também na categoria de Drágeas, com destaque para criações de origem e combinações ousadas.

  • Inclusões e sabores em destaque:
    Banana, castanha de caju, maracujá, café, doce de leite e até queijo Canastra, mostrando a criatividade e a brasilidade das marcas.

Parabenizo todas as marcas brasileiras que conquistaram medalhas nesta edição, reforçando a qualidade e a inovação do nosso chocolate no cenário internacional.

Results of the International Chocolate Awards – Latin America & Caribbean 2025: Brazil on the Podium

In recent days, in August 2025, the results of the Latin America & Caribbean stage of the International Chocolate Awards were announced, one of the most prestigious competitions in the sector.

As I have been dedicating myself for at least two years to analyzing the results of international chocolate competitions, today I started updating my qualitative and quantitative statistical analysis spreadsheet, with the aim of monitoring the performance of Brazilian brands throughout the editions and across the 20 categories of this stage.

In this initial survey, I identified that Brazilian brands accounted for 12.35% of the winners and reached the podium in 6 out of 20 categories.

    From 33% to 55%, covering milk and white chocolates, both plain and with infusions or inclusions, as well as in the dragée category, with emphasis on origin creations and bold combinations.

  • Key inclusions and highlighted flavors:
    Banana, cashew nuts, passion fruit, coffee, doce de leite, and even Canastra cheese – a true showcase of creativity and Brazilian identity in chocolate.

Congratulations to all the Brazilian brands that won medals in this edition, reinforcing the quality and innovation of our chocolate in the international arena.

A special highlight goes to Ju Arléo Chocolates, partner and supporter of the Expedição Cacau e Chocolate do Brasil, which shone in two different categories.

It is a joy and a source of pride to witness this growth. Now, I eagerly look forward to the global finals of the International Chocolate Awards, where we will certainly have even more reasons to celebrate Brazilian talent.
